Bern
I like Bern. It is a city, but a manageable size. These are scenes from our walk around the old part of the city on Friday and a walk along the river on Saturday morning.
Note the clock tower (Zytglogge), an elaborate medieval clock tower with moving puppets that puts on a show at noon and two o'clock (which we always missed). There is also below it a cool mechanical astronomical clock that keeps track of the day, month, year and zodiac.
