What do Bolivians eat?
I never figured out “authentic” Bolivians food. Dave and I went to very Chili’s looking restaurant with great hamburgers, a really good Peruvian restaurant and this Tex Mex place (with a Texas theme – we felt right at home)
I also checked out the Burger King and Pollos Copacabana, which although very North American in style, seemed very popular with the locals. Trout fromLake Titicaca is the famous and traditional fare at Copacabana. Having grown up in Star Valley , Wyoming , I wasn’t all that excited about the trout. Star Valley is justly famous for its trout fishing (note President’s Monson’s comment when the Star Valley temple was announced), but I never really cared for it all that much. Instead I opted for a very good 3 egg omelet at one of the little restaurants just up from the lake
