Confession- Part 3

About a month before my Sixth Birthday, Dad's new job moved the Family to the San Francisco Bay Area. More specifically to an established East Bay Suburb nestled in the San Ramon Valley with a perfect view of Mt Diablo to the east. Danville, California would become the family homestead for the next 8 years. Which is quite ironic since my parents had vowed to never live in California (let alone for 8 years).

Chapter 2: Danville, CA
  • Zeek following me to school on that fateful first grade day
  • Greenbrook Eagles
  • Mrs. Dye's 2nd grade class (it's weird to think that I was "held-back")
  • Mrs. Sander's Third grade class: meeting Robert and getting introduced to Guide Dogs for the Blind
  • 5th Grade camp at Walker Creek
  • Contra Costa County Guide Dog Puppy Raisers (Roderick)
  • SHOWBIZ
  • The Danville Village Theatre
  • Charlotte Wood Middle School: The BEST Middle School EVER.
  • In-n-Out Burger
  • El Balazo (spelling?)
  • Alisa and Andy going on missions
  • Dreaming about the day that I would become a SRVHS Wolf
  • Danville 2nd Ward, Danville, CA Stake
  • D2 Deacons and Teachers Quorum (aka the Danville 2nd Ward Phantoms)
  • Snowcamping and other adventures in the Sierra Nevada Mountains
  • Trips to Centerville: Stealing Dove ice cream bars from Marie's fridge and the "Pooper-Scoopers" (Alicia and Krista should know what I'm talking about...)
  • Canfield Court
  • Making movies
  • Annoying Dave's "cool" SRV-Monte Vista-priest and laurel-friends
  • Coldstone in the Livery after CW Choir concerts
  • Back-Packing with Andy in Sunol (spelling?)
  • Seventh Grade...good times
  • Six Flags Marine World
  • Camp Oljato. Best BSA camp ever
  • Caffeine Free
  • Danville 2nd "Opening Soc" at the Mormon Center (now the Sacramento, CA Temple)
  • San Ramon Traditional Tae Kwon Do Academy
  • Living by Mark and Melinda
  • Santa Cruz
  • CD shopping with Alisa in Berkley
  • Dave's Scout
  • Knowing that NorCal would forever be better than SoCal
  • April 18, 2002

Then, the day following Showbiz's return from their San Antonio Tour (July 19, 2003 to be exact) everything changed. What dawned as a beautiful Danville, CA summer day talespinned into a 14-year-old's nightmare. My life was officially over.

Or so I thought.
